Stand Alone Workshops

As the years pass, I’ve found myself leading several workshops repeatedly. While I love a project that connects with participants over a period of time and responds to their creative lead, I’ve also discovered a magic in returning to the same activity with different groups, in different seasons and spaces – the activities evolve to a kind of maturity while the discussion remains ever fresh. And just as we humans are infinitely varied, no two workshop experiences are ever the same!

Use an extensive array of fallen buds, seed pods, sticks, leaves and cones to create temporary artworks.

Discover the creative possibilities of ordinary plants.

Form shells, seaweed, driftwood and pebbles into pictures and, as you do so, consider their role in the ecosystem.

Make quirky, playful books using the shadows created by natural objects.

A stand alone workshop invites participants to experience a taste of nature-based creativity, to leave inspired, bursting with discovery and, often, to take new directions in their own play or creative pursuits afterwards. These workshops have evolved over time from experience, and I’m delighted to share them with you as a starting point. If you’d like to explore specific needs or ideas, then I would love to hear from you too.

Workshops cost from £165 and vary according to participant numbers, location and timings. The fee covers insurance and risk assessments, training, ongoing maintenance of my collection and workshop preparation – all part of self-employed life!
