Creative Nature Bimble
Dandelion Delight
Higher Cemetery
Friday 22 May
10am-11.30 or 1pm-2.30
This month we’ll embrace the flowers that are popping up here, there and everywhere. Come with a favourite in mind or choose one when you arrive and we’ll hunt it down together, considering the folklore that surrounds it. And then we’ll turn to the sunniest of them all – discover how to twist dandelion stems into cordage, and taste the sweetness of dandelion syrup … is it really as good as honey?
Look at Heavitree in new ways, and find nature in every corner…
Walks are for adults, whatever your experience (or lack of) of nature. They are free of charge but a £5 donation supports more walks to happen.
To book your place, please complete this very simple form. Meeting details and how to donate will be shared with booking confirmation. Due to small group sizes, once booked, please do your best to turn up!
