The trees, the brambles, the grasses, the mushrooms … as we approach the end of the year and slow down (or forget to) for winter, let’s take a moment to amble slowly through our green spaces. To soften our focus, draw our attention to everything and nothing.
We’ll gather some Birch twigs and shape them into a circle, moving slowly through the Cemetery and the Park, noticing details and gathering cones, twigs and leaves, transforming them into the beginnings of a wreath for the wintertide.
Look at Heavitree in new ways, and find nature in every corner …
Walks are for adults, whatever your experience (or lack of) of nature. They are free of charge but a £5 donation supports more walks to happen.
